I did install OS X on my EEE 701 a while ago. 900 hardware is basically same as 701. Unfortunately, OS X on EEE is not very usable because of some timing issues with the system, it runs unresponsive (hard to describe) due to bug in OS X with. How you can identify MAC address and check MAC adress? Windows(XP,7,Vista,8): In the command prompt (CMD), type in getmac (or getmac /v /fo list for full info). Linux/Unix: type ifconfig -a. You must be root user or have appropriate permissions. Mac OS X: launch the Terminal and type ifconfig. Cisco: in the CLI type e.g. The Asus Eee PC is a netbook computer line from Asus, and a part of the Asus Eee product family. At the time of its introduction in late 2007, it was noted for its combination of a lightweight, Linux-based operating system, solid-state drive (SSD), and relatively low cost. Newer models added the options of Microsoft Windows operating system and rotating media hard disk drives (HDD),.
I'm a pretty experienced hackintosh guy now thanks to Tony and the forums.but I purchased an Asus eeE PC netbook with the intel atom processor. Do you know if iboot or multibeast can help with the installation of Snow Leopard? Obviously you cant upgrade the OS past 10.6.1 thanks to Apple breaking the support for the atom processor. I've looked at EEE pc several times in MicroCenter. It feels cheap in every way. I do like the netbook form factor. I don't mind carrying my Macbook but I'm sure I'd carry a smaller OS X device if I had one, though the EEE wouldn't be my first choice. Sony, Toshiba and HP all make small notebooks.

I got some links that gave me an initial understanding that EEE and Mac OS can actually work together nicely, albeit not perfectly i.e wireless and BT might have issues (but I'm in testing mode so I'm fine with that). I found some good lines and guides on several web sites and also YouTube. Just google 'EEE and Mac OS' and also 'dual boot Windows and Mac OS' and you'll be on the right path.
BTW if you do this, make sure tyo buy a legit copy of Mac OS X from the Apple store. I'm not going to tell you how to get that from pirated websites and personally I dont encourage any software pirating. But some say you can get OS X from non-apple sources on the web. You will need a copy of the commercial OS X DVD to install it on an EEE. You get the point.
What you'll need:
EEE running XP Home

OS X install DVD - latest is better
Partitioning tool like EASEUS which is free and worked well for me in the past.

How:I first made some changes to the partitions with EASEUS. I have a 160GB disk, so I resized the XP partition 'C:' to 60GB. I also erased 'D:' which was empty anyway. That process required a reboot. It created some free space on my disk. After the EEE booted up, I created a new partiton for OS X. I made it 40GB and called it 'Mac OS X'. I made it FAT32.
I also created a 30GB partition for future Linux install (thinking ahead!) and 10GB for file swapping between Windows and MAC so it was Fat32 as well.
